Nanpu Town is located in the northeast of Quangang District and the south bank of Meizhou Bay. It is a populous town, an important industrial town and a strong economic town in Quangang District. The town covers an area of 40 square kilometers, with 15 administrative villages and a total population of 82,328. It is one of the nine oil refining bases and four transit ports being planned and constructed in China, and it is also the key area for Quangang District to build the pioneering area of Hayes Petrochemical and the main hub port on the south bank of Meizhou Bay.
