Requirements for becoming a lawyer in the United States:

(3) Pass the state bar exam: There is no unified national judicial exam in the United States. Each state is an independent judicial unit, with its own bar exam, application conditions and passing standards. The American bar exam is held twice a year, in late February and July respectively. The exam takes two to three days, which varies from state to state.
It should be noted that being qualified as a lawyer in one state does not mean that you can practice as a lawyer in other States. If you want to be a lawyer in another state, you need to pass the bar exam in another state.
(4) American Bar Association recognition: American lawyers' organizations are lawyers' associations, including federal lawyers' associations, state lawyers' associations and county lawyers' associations.
