Similarities and differences of vertical search engines

Vertical search is different from general search such as google and Baidu in positioning, content, users and market strategy. So vertical search is not just a simple industry Google. Users use general search engines such as google and Baidu through keywords, which belongs to semantic search, and the returned results tend to be knowledge achievements, such as articles, papers, news and so on. Vertical search also provides keywords for searching, but in the context of industry knowledge, the returned results are more inclined to information, messages, items and so on. For the person who buys a house, the information he wants to find about the supply and demand of the house is different from the articles and news. This feature is determined by their respective technical characteristics. For example, Google search engine is a pyramid, then the vertical search engine is an inverted pyramid, and the two are complementary.
