What exam is pte?

PTE Academic English Test is a computer-based standardized language test developed by Pearson Education, which is used for studying abroad, immigration, work or visa. The examination contents are as follows:

First, spoken English &; Writing (77-93 minutes)?

1, oral test?

Five questions. Including reading the specified text aloud, following sentences, describing chart information, summarizing lecture information orally and answering short questions.

2. Writing test?

Summarize the written text: summarize the information points of a paragraph in 1 sentence (with emphasis), no more than 75 words, 10 minute (including the time for reading the text).

Composition argumentative writing: similar to IELTS TOEFL composition, the word range is 200-300 words, and the examination time is 20 minutes.

Second, reading (32-4 1 min)

The test questions are divided into multiple-choice questions and fill-in-the-blank questions, which are divided into five small sections.

Third, listening (45-57 minutes)?

***7 questions. Including: written summary of listening text, multiple choice questions, short dictation to fill in the blanks, selection of summary suitable for listening content, selection of missing audio content, and error correction of listening short passages and short dictation.
