Basic steps of applying for skilled immigrants in Canada

It was a long time ago. I got the information from my immigration office in Haveland. I hope I can help you:

. 1. Submit the application documents.

Prepare all the application documents as required, go to the bank to buy the draft, and then send the application documents together with the draft to the Canadian consulate.

. 2. Apply for CCPE certification and take the IELTS test.

If you apply to be an engineer, you should be certified by CCPE. CCPE certification can be supplemented after submitting the application materials to speed up the application process. Take the IELTS test (you can take the IELTS test before applying or after submitting your application)

Step 3 prepare for the interview

After listening to the applicant's materials, the Immigration Bureau will determine whether an interview is necessary, and inform you that if you take the IELTS test (not necessary), you can be exempted from the test, and those with excellent grades (generally above 6 points) can be exempted from the test (you can also take the IELTS test first and send your transcripts and application materials to the Immigration Bureau).

Step 4 interview

The Immigration Bureau will send you an interview notice about 2 months before the interview time. The notice will inform the applicant of the exact interview time and the materials that need to be brought during the interview (please note that some materials must be original). The interview time is generally 30 minutes. You will know the interview result after the interview. If qualified, the immigration officer will issue you a medical examination form.

.5. Physical examination

The medical examination hospital is designated by the immigration bureau, and the medical examination must be carried out within 7 days after the interview is passed.

.6. Get landing papers.

After the interview is passed, if there is no problem with the physical examination, it will take about 1 month, and the immigration office will issue an immigrant visa.

.7. Entry registration

Declare entry before the landing time stipulated in the immigration visa (usually 1 1 month after getting the landing paper).

Remarks: The whole application process generally takes three months at the earliest, and generally takes six months to one year.
