The Historical Evolution of Wuyi County
In the second year of Tang Tianshou (69 1), Wuyi County was built, belonging to Wuzhou. It remained unchanged from the Five Dynasties to the Song Dynasty.
Although the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties changed the state to Tao, Tao to Ningyue House, and finally changed its name to Jinhua House, the affiliation remained unchanged.

After liberation, Wuyi County belonged to Jinhua District.
Xuanping county belongs to Lishui area, and 1952 was changed to Quzhou area.
1954, Quzhou area was revoked and changed to Jinhua area.
1958 In May, the organizational system of Xuanping County was abolished, county-level institutions and 16 township were merged into Wuyi County, and the other five townships were incorporated into Lishui County.
1958 10, Wuyi county was revoked and merged into Yongkang county.

1985 In May, Jinhua District was changed to Jinhua City, and Wuyi County was subordinate to Jinhua City.
On September 20th, 20001,Zhejiang government letter [200 1]1approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of Wuyi county: the establishment of Xintang Township, Zhuke Township and Yunhua Township was abolished, and most of the original Xintang Township, Zhuke Township and Yunhua Township (Yunxi Township and Yunhua Township) were abolished. Liucheng She nationality town governs 54 villages, 1 household, and solves the problem of high-yield villages. Shangjiang Village and Minfeng Village in Yunhua Township are under the jurisdiction of Taoxi Town. Baiguoshujiao Natural Village in Taoxi Town, originally from baimu town, was placed under Yanzhuling Village in baimu town. Taoxi Town governs 27 villages and is located in Taocun (the original site). Cancel the establishment of Xinzhai Township, Xuanwu Township and Mingshan Township, and merge to establish Xinzhai Town. Xinzhai Town governs 46 villages and is located in xinzhai village (formerly Xinzhai Township). Cancel the establishment of Jiaodao Township and set up Jiaodao Town. Jiaodao Town governs 12 village, 1 residence, located in Yangjia Dongying community. Wuyang Town, Shaozhai Township and Taoxitan Township were abolished, and they were directly under the jurisdiction of Wuyi County Government, and the establishment of sub-district offices was adjusted. After adjustment, Wuyi County has jurisdiction over eight towns, namely Liucheng She, Lvtan, Tongqin, Quanxi, Xinzhai, Wangzhai, Taoxi and Jiaodao, and seven townships, namely Datian, Mu Bai, Yuyuan, Tang Hong, Xilian, Sangang and Daxikou, with several sub-district offices in the center of the county. In 2002, Wuyi County governed 3 streets, 8 towns, 7 townships, 14 communities, 1 residential area, and 544 administrative villages: Baiyang Street, Hushan Street, Shuxi Street, Lvtan Town, Tongqin Town, Quanxi Town, Wangzhai Town, Taoxi Town, Liuchengshe Town and so on.
By the end of 2004, Wuyi county had jurisdiction over 3 streets, 8 towns and 7 townships, 14 community neighborhood committees, 2 neighborhood committees and 544 village committees, with an area of 1577 square kilometers and a population density of 208 people/square kilometers.
