Can I study abroad before immigrating to Australia to get PR?

According to the current law, you can immigrate to Australia directly after studying in Australia for two years.

However, there will be a new immigration law after July 1 day, and the new law will stipulate:

If your major is on the new list of immigration occupations, universities and some postgraduate courses, you can immigrate after finishing it (other conditions must be met)

You can't immigrate until you finish your college course for one year.

If you have not studied for two years, you need to leave the country to apply for immigration.

The processing time of applications in Australia is generally much faster than that outside Australia.
