I think you should still need a visa. You just came from Hong Kong? Doesn't mean you have a DC passport.

7. The applicant has a passbook in a bank in China for nearly 6 months.

8. Notarized economic guarantee (original); Copy of guarantor's ID card; A copy of the taxpayer registration form is URC；; Bank statements for the past 6 months; Tax bills for the past six months.

9. The confirmed round-trip air ticket order needs to print the telephone number and address of the booking unit on special paper and affix the official seal.

10. Visa application to the consul drafted by the visa applicant (this document must be completed and signed at the consulate).

1 1. If the other party is a company or enterprise, the invitation letter (original) issued by it shall be submitted.

The notarized documents received by Guangdong Foreign Affairs Service Center are limited to Guangdong Province. If you have other foreign documents, please go back to the local area to handle them.
