Portuguese learning
I just started learning Portuguese a month ago. Google Play ran around and downloaded a large number of colorful (Portuguese flag color) apps to decorate the screen of mobile phones (Android system), and found several useful ones. Here I want to share their advantages and disadvantages with you.
Learning app:
1. course software: Drop/Duolingo (multi-neighboring countries) /Lingodeer (teacher Lu speaks a foreign language)
When I first started learning, I screened several similar apps that suited me. Rule out Drop first, because although memorizing words is useful, there is no grammatical explanation, which is not suitable for beginners who urgently need to build a grammatical framework. All that's left is the struggle between Doringo and Ringo Deere.
Let's start with many neighboring countries. Its advantage is that it is not only free, but also the explanation of each section is vivid after the improvement of the mobile app. But it has several big defects:
1. It is difficult to review what I have learned accurately (for example, I just want to review words, but I have to repeat many blunt sentence exercises across multiple units).
2. Lack of explanation of pronunciation rules
3. Chapter knowledge is fragmented, learning the same tense into several units scattered at different levels.
Drop's learning interface is very vivid in many neighboring countries.
But Mr. Lu speaks a foreign language, so you don't have to worry about these weaknesses mentioned above. I wrote an evaluation in Zhihu before, which described in detail the experience of learning Portuguese with this app. Now I have completed all advanced courses and gained more experience. Here, I would like to briefly summarize its more recommended places compared with many neighboring countries.
1. About review: app has specially opened up a review interface, and users can customize the review words, grammar and wrong questions.
2. About pronunciation: The complete book of pronunciation rules is placed directly before the first lesson, which saves a lot of time in searching for scattered pronunciation rules on the Internet. Each unit has a unique independent dubbing function after class.
3. About the division of knowledge modules: each unit corresponds to a key grammar, with detailed explanations, and the forgotten grammar points go straight to that unit-this is especially brilliant in the final stage of the advanced stage. Basically, each unit is a new tense, and the usage rules of this tense, the combination with other tenses, and the inflections of various irregular verbs in this tense are all caught. But the final stage of the advanced stage is basically intense bombing, which is too bloated and urgent. Personally, I hope I can insert more units to classify words. On the one hand, I can solve the problem that the vocabulary of APP is relatively insufficient. On the other hand, I don't want all the grammar difficulties to be crammed into one teaching session, leaving some light topics to combine work and rest.
In addition to the above-mentioned functions that can perfectly overcome the shortcomings of many neighboring countries, Mr. Lu can also support offline learning by downloading courses when speaking a foreign language (Duolingo also has it, but it is no longer free if plus is needed). These are the reasons that prompted me to choose this app as an introduction to Portuguese, and it didn't disappoint me. Vocabulary, writing ability, listening ability, these all need time and environment to cultivate, not the app can teach, but customs clearance means that I have figured out the grammar before b2 level.
Tool-based software: travel, daily expressions/verb changes/dictionaries
Baltic Portuguese
Accelerated learning software, recommended points are as follows:
1. is an excellent tourist app with basic communication sentence patterns and almost all kinds of communication scenes, which are divided into four different levels: basic, elementary, intermediate and advanced, and the content is quite practical.
You can listen to some Portuguese fairy tales with it. For example, the well-known "Branca de Neve", "O corvo e a Raposa" and "ALebre e a Tartaruga", and some lesser-known ones, such as "A menina e o Vampiro".
3. You can also review single sentences in the exercise book in the lower right corner. Apps for Portuguese are very rare.
What makes this app unusual is its fuzzy function, which directly encodes Portuguese sentences and lets you follow the following English translation questions.
At the same time, exercise your listening comprehension.
The disadvantage is that, like drop, there is no grammar explanation at all, and it needs to be used in conjunction with textbooks or systematic learning software like Teacher Lu mentioned above.
As for verb displacement, I use app Portuguese verbs, which contain all tenses and corresponding pronunciations. As for dictionaries, I found that bravol's free English-Portuguese dictionary (with the flags of Britain and Brazil on the icon) (the name of the app is Portuguese-English dictionary) is good, which can be translated in both directions, and also supports the explanation of common phrases and example sentences, which is completely enough for beginners.
Life app:
Online books
This is a Brazilian version of the kitchen app, which contains the introduction and practice of food from all over the world, with pictures and pictures, and many videos. Users can comment and score recipes according to their own ideas. Students who want to know about Brazilian cuisine must not miss it. They can learn a lot about food cooking vocabulary.
As for the shortcomings. . When you open Chinese food, you are greeted by all kinds of chop suey and some untimely snacks ... The feeling of foreign Chinese restaurants is vivid on the paper (digression, Italian Chinese restaurants have also begun to promote innovative dishes in recent years, but maybe Brazilian Chinese restaurants still stay in the original formula and taste. )
placard
The app specially created for football fans has been a fan of old Flamengo for 30 years. Although the focus is mainly on the first and second leagues of Brazilian football, it also provides all the schedules of major European clubs and the news of international football, and is also mixed with blogs of various football celebrities. Click on the team you care about to find the standings and results of the five major leagues in Europe.
The disadvantage is that you can't comment on the news, and you can't enjoy the dragon and phoenix dance, delicious mouth and endless jokes in the comment area like you know the ball emperor/tiger pounce.
Radio Brazil
The application under Google Market can listen to all free online FM radio stations and Internet radio stations in Brazil in real time. The advantage is that you can use the timer function to automatically close the app and set the alarm clock, so that you can wake up in your favorite Portuguese music every sunny morning.
The disadvantage is that although there are many and miscellaneous radio stations, you can't find the programs you want to listen to by classified query (you can only search for the names of radio stations), so you can only listen to them one by one.
There are so many downloads on mobile phones for the time being. Although there are not many Portuguese applications on the market, they all do very well. By making good use of these resources, you can experience the fireworks in the Portuguese-speaking world at close range while studying complex and difficult courses. Learning a foreign language is not easy, but you should stick to it. Answer!
