Were the ancestors of Koreans Chu people in the Warring States Period?

There are more or less descendants of Chu.

If we are talking about modern Koreans, we should be the adherents of Shang Dynasty or Xia Dynasty. Shang Dynasty and Xia Dynasty are descendants of the Yellow Emperor, and Chu State is descendants of Chiyou. If Korea is divided into three parts, it is the descendant of Jin State.

There is Hanyang in Hubei, China, which is one of the three towns in Wuhan. Today, Hanyang District of Wu Hanyou, the capital of South Korea is Seoul. Seoul's original name was actually Hanyang.

Now there is a county of Danyang in South Korea, and a former place in China and Hubei called Danyang was once the capital of Chu. There is a Gangneung County in Hubei, China, and a Gangneung City in South Korea.

It is no coincidence that many place names in South Korea are the same as those in Hubei, China, but the history of South Korea is related to Chu State in China during the Warring States Period.

Qin Shihuang sent Xu Fu and Han Zhong to the sea to seek the medicine of immortality. They all fled and didn't come back. Xu Fu went to Japan, Han Zhong went to South Korea and became the king of Malaysia and South Korea.

During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Han Zhong's trip to South Korea and Xu Fu's trip to Japan were not separate cases. During the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, there were frequent wars in the Central Plains, and the corvee and military service were heavy. A large number of Central Plains people crossed the ocean to make a living on the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago. Because Han Zhong and Xu Fu are famous for crossing the sea, later generations often take primitive people across the sea to the Korean peninsula and the Japanese archipelago.

The ancestors of Koreans were related to Chu State in China during the Warring States Period. We know the story of Xu Fudong crossing the sea to Japan, and we should also know the story of Han finally crossing the sea to South Korea.
