Longchuan County is located in the northeast of Guangdong Province, upstream of Dongjiang River and Hanjiang River, with Xunwu County and dingnan county in Jiangxi Province in the north, Wuhua County and xingning city in Meizhou City in the east, Dongyuan County in the south and peace county in the west, with Laolong Town as the county seat. The county belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with mild climate, abundant rain and sunshine.
