What kind of passport can I take to enter Hong Kong freely?

There are only three kinds of passports: diplomatic passports, used by diplomats; Passport on business is sent abroad by the state; Personal passports of ordinary citizens.

Chinese mainland residents mainly use Hong Kong and Macao Pass to go to Hong Kong. Passports are not impossible, but conditional:

1. Holders of China passport+foreign visa or Hong Kong air ticket can stay visa-free for 7 days. Those who do not fly for many times will be blacklisted by the mainland customs, and it will be difficult to get a passport or pass endorsement in the future;

2. You can stay for 7 days with a visa-free Hong Kong passport.

3. A China passport with a long-term overseas residence visa can apply for a HK visa for one or two years at the China Embassy, with a stay of 14 days each time.

4. If you fly to Hong Kong from a third country, you can stay for 7 days without a visa.
