Geological Brief Introduction of Ankang Hydropower Station

The valley at the dam site is very narrow, only 200 meters wide at low tide. The bedrock is Sinian phyllite, which is mainly composed of chlorite, chlorite and a small amount of chronological. The lithology is weak, the weathering depth on both banks is 20 ~ 60m, and faults are developed. The basic earthquake intensity is 7 degrees. The basin above the dam site covers an area of 35,700 square kilometers, with an average annual flow of 608 cubic meters per second and an average annual sediment discharge of 25.4 million tons. The normal water level of the reservoir is 330 meters, with a corresponding storage capacity of 2.585 billion cubic meters and a dead water level of 300 meters. The adjusted storage capacity is 65.438+67 billion cubic meters. The dam is designed according to the once-in-a-millennium flood of 36,700 m3/s and the once-in-a-millennium flood of 45,000 m3/s, and the corresponding reservoir water levels are 333. 10 m and 337.05 m respectively, and the corresponding flood discharge is 3 1500 m3/s and 37,600 m3/s respectively. When the design flood level is 33.3.10 meter, the maximum storage capacity is 2.925 billion cubic meters. When the water level is limited to 320 meters in flood season, the flood storage capacity is 65.438+0.02 billion cubic meters. The reservoir flooded 3,333 hectares of cultivated land, and 54,000 people were resettled.
