Guiping Datengxia

Entrusted by the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region, on March 5th, the Engineering Consulting Center of the Autonomous Region held a preliminary design review meeting for the special highway from Guiping to Datengxia in our city. City leaders Yang, Yang and Yang attended the meeting.

At the meeting, experts and invited experts from the Pearl River Water Conservancy Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources, Autonomous Region Traffic Design Institute, Autonomous Region Highway Society, Guangxi Hydropower Design Institute and Guigang Highway Bureau carefully reviewed and discussed the two design schemes of Guiping-Datengxia special highway provided by the design unit Zhongshui Northeast Survey and Design Research Co., Ltd., and listened carefully to the opinions of our city. Combined with the actual situation of Guiping City, they unanimously decided to adopt the Design Scheme to integrate the urban planning control, tourism and other factors in Guiping City, and to supplement and modify them.

It is understood that the special highway from Guiping to Datengxia is located on the left bank of Qianjiang River, starting from the vicinity of Qianjiang Bridge, the second-class highway from Guiping to Jintian, and ending at the bridgehead of the river-crossing bridge under the dam of Datengxia Water Control Project. The total length is about 6. 1 km. The first phase of subgrade is designed according to the standard of 12 m, and the long-term subgrade is controlled according to the planned land use of 42 m. The design speed is 60-80 km/h, and the total investment is about 70 km.

Mayor Yang said in his speech that the construction of the Datengxia Water Control Project is the strong desire of more than 50 years in Guiping 1.8 million people, and has played a great role in port defense, shipping, irrigation, electricity and so on in Guangxi, Guangdong and Macao. Our city will give full play to the strength of the whole city and cooperate with the project construction. Party committees and government departments at all levels should provide the best service for the construction of Datengxia Water Control Project, and ensure that the special highway construction unit can start construction smoothly and on time.
