Did overseas Chinese students get low marks in the college entrance examination of Beijing Institute of Technology?

Drop points.

Compared with the domestic college entrance examination students, the admission scores of overseas Chinese students are lower. Even in famous universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua, overseas Chinese students can be admitted as long as they get more than 400 points.

The enrollment brochure of 20 19 has made four major adjustments to the identity of overseas Chinese candidates:

The first is to clearly define the identity of overseas Chinese. Strict implementation of the relevant provisions of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office in the State Council shall be reviewed by the overseas Chinese affairs departments in various places, and the relevant policies shall be interpreted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office in the State Council.

I would like to remind you in particular that according to the Notice on Printing and Distributing issued by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, China citizens are not regarded as overseas Chinese during their study abroad (including at public expense and at their own expense) or during their work abroad on business (including laborers sent abroad).

Second, on the basis of restricting the overseas Chinese status of candidates, it is required that one of the parents of candidates should also have overseas Chinese status.

The third is to clarify the minimum time requirement for overseas Chinese candidates to stay in the country of residence. In view of the fact that the majority of overseas Chinese candidates and some countries have introduced low-threshold investment immigrants in recent years, it is further clearly required that "overseas Chinese candidates who have obtained long-term or permanent residency in their country of residence must actually stay in their country of residence for not less than 18 months within two years before registration; Those who have not obtained the long-term or permanent right of abode in the country but have obtained the legal residence qualification of living in the country for more than five years (including five years) must actually live in the country of residence for not less than 30 months in the five years before registration. "

The fourth is to strengthen the examination of identity and high school education. Overseas Chinese candidates must submit at least three materials to the registration point when registering on the spot: first, proof of legal relationship with parents with overseas Chinese identity; Second, the certificate issued by the embassy (consulate) of China that I and my parents have obtained long-term or permanent residency in foreign countries or have obtained legal residence qualifications in the country of residence; Thirdly, China people's passports.

Special reminder: those who have the status of overseas Chinese but have been living, studying or staying in China cannot meet the above requirements and cannot take the joint entrance examination. However, if you meet the registration requirements for the domestic college entrance examination, you can take the college entrance examination in China.
