The Origin of the Village According to the "Laoshan Duan Family Genealogy", Duanjiabu Community was established by the ancestor of the Song family in the late Hongwu years of the Ming Dynasty. It is located at the foot of the mountain northeast of Laoshan Wa The foundation of the hill above Xubu was therefore named "Dongbu Tuan". In the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1404), Duke Boxiang, the ancestor of the Duan family, moved with the "big army" in the early Ming Dynasty from Xiaoyunnan (today's southern Shanxi Province) to the foot of Laoshan Mountain in Jimo County, Laizhou Prefecture, Shandong Province, and lived in Dengying, which is surrounded by the mountains and the sea. They made a living on a gentle harbour, inside the depression, at the foot of Douqiankou, and east of the Huangjia River (the area to the north and east of the current Laoshan Glass Factory site is still called "Duanjia Land" by the locals). Because the area was sparsely populated at that time, wild animals were rampant, and the living environment was dangerous, so the family moved to Dongbu Tuan, where they lived next to the ancestors of the Song family. Before the "Jimo County Chronicle" was compiled during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the name of the village had been changed to "Duanjiabu". Due to the difficult entrepreneurship and hard work of the predecessors in the past generations, coupled with the relatively stable social environment that lasted for hundreds of years starting from the early Ming Dynasty, the Duan family thrived and developed rapidly. Since the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the Duan family has successively divided into branches and migrated to places such as Daijiabu, Shashakou, Caolidao, Nanyao, Dashi Community, Zhuwo, Guanlao, Sunjiaxiazhuang, Licang District, Hebei, Henan, and Dongbei Zhuang, Houjiazhuang, Xiliuzhuang, Zhengzhuang, Yangjiazhuang, Chenjiazhuang, Dazhuang, Yanjiawuwu, Guojiaheyan in Jiaonan City, Dingjiahe in Huangdao District, Shidao Peach Garden, Dongwangmen and Xiwangmen in Rongcheng City Waiting places.

Duanjiabu Community is nearby the Laoshan Scenic Area, Qingdao Huadong Baili Winery, Laoshan Qing Palace, Qingdao Shilaoren Tourist Park, Qingdao Polar Ocean World and other tourist attractions. There are Laoshan green tea, Beizhai cherry, Laoshan tea, Laoshan mineral water, Laoshan dairy goat and other specialties.
