"Spring and Autumn is in Shu, and the Minjiang River flows in the morning and evening" (the ancient meaning of Tang Dynasty poet Wu). Hanyang Ancient Town, located 20km south of Qingshen County, Sichuan Province, is the hometown of Can Cong, the first generation king of Shu. The Minjiang River meanders through the ancient town with a history of 1000 years.
Qingshen County Records records that as early as the Han Dynasty, a family named Yang moved here from other places. Seeing that the silt in Minjiang River has accumulated for many years, forming a flat terrain and fertile land, it is an ideal place to live, so I settled in Bashang, specializing in farming and sericulture. Later, many immigrants who migrated along the waterway also settled here, lived and multiplied, and gradually formed a village and a market town. This is how Hanyangba got its name.
Hanyang Ancient Town is an important post road of Wuchi Road on the east line of the Southern Silk Road, a famous water pier, a material distribution center of "three counties and nine townships", and a famous sericulture and manual reeling production area.
"Hanyang Silk" is famous at home and abroad for its bright luster and uniform brightness, and is exported to the American market. Hanyang Silk Market was once listed as the "two major silk markets" in southwest Sichuan along with Chengdu Jiqiaoqiao Silk Market.
During the period of the Republic of China, Song Meiling donated Hanyangchang Town Silk Reeling Factory on 1938. Because Hanyang silk is bright and even, it can weave "Jiading Big Silk". During the New Life Movement on 1939, Song Meiling donated to build a silkworm seed farm in the name of the Women's Steering Committee.
Hanyang ancient town, located between Leshan and Chengdu, is the water traffic throat leading to Chengdu, Leshan, Chongqing and even outside Sichuan. In the past, Hanyang merchants gathered in the north and south, and it was a distribution center for materials in more than ten surrounding towns. People sell agricultural and sideline products to Chengdu and other places, and Chengdu's silk and salt are sold all over the country through here. "
"One river, three ferries, nine and a half mountains". In the past, hundreds of boats gathered at Hanyang Wharf, and the trumpets of boatmen and the shouts of trackers came and went. Bamboo rafts shuttled back and forth on the river, leaving waves on the river. At dusk, the boats and rafts docked at Hanyang Wharf are connected in a string, which is thousands of meters long. Lanterns are hung high in the streets and alleys of Hanyang ancient town, and guests are in an endless stream. ...
The blue brick houses, parapets, diaojiao buildings, slate streets and wooden quadrangles on both sides of the street have typical architectural characteristics of southwest residential buildings. There are 100 well-preserved buildings, such as Jia Peng compound and diaojiao building.
Hanyang ancient town was destroyed by fire three times in history, but the cost of blue bricks is too high for ordinary people to bear, so now there are still the most wooden houses, and the houses on the street are closely connected, so there are tall and beautiful embankment walls.
Hanyang Ancient Town consists of eight streets: Mishi Street, Huamian Street, Yan Guan Street, Fanshen Street, Banbian Street, Xia Zheng Street, Zheng Heng Street and Houzheng Street. It is in the shape of a well, and there is water in the well, which means water is like fire in the five elements.
Residents in the town also built a temple of fire, dedicated to the Vulcan "Zhu Rong", which was built in the early Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Daoguang for five years. It is said that the "Three Treasures of Hanyang" (stone tablets, pillars of Masang Temple, murals of Ming and Qing Dynasties) are preserved here. The Beidou Temple, also built in the light years of the Qing Dynasty, is adjacent to it, where Buddhism and Taoism blend together and the small temple is filled with incense.
Hanyang is not famous. Many people don't know this ancient town at all. There are only a few scattered tourists on holidays and weekends. The ancient towns are basically old people, and it is their daily life to soak in teahouses and put on a dragon gate array. The most rare thing is that there are two ancient crafts in Hanyang ancient town: one is to strike while the iron is hot, and the other is to make scales. Business is bad, and the next generation gives up inheritance.
In July this year, a new "Kunlongchang" teahouse opened in Yan Guan Street. Every weekend, there are cultural performances, mainly "Golden Money Board", and the repertoire includes Song Wu Da Hu, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Fortune-telling for the Blind, Good Sichuan, etc. The finale is the "face-changing" stunt of Sichuan Opera.
Hanyang is the birthplace of Sichuan cuisine "Bangbangji". It is said that at first, for the convenience of boatmen and trackmen on the dock, the chicken was cooked, loosened with wooden sticks and mixed with seasonings to make it spicy, sour, sweet, fresh, salty and fragrant. It has the reputation of "Hanyang chicken with elegant rotten fish".
Up to now, there are many special flavors to choose from, such as spicy, spiced, pickled pepper, rattan pepper, spicy, salty and sauced.
