Qianxi County-Caofeidian One Day Tour

One-day trip from Qianxi County to Caofeidian. I don’t know how to arrange my trip this time, so I just want to give myself a reason to go out! I will drive by myself with the tourist card~Since After working, I chose to stay in bed during the first part of the weekend, but for a long time every time I thought about my memory, it was the memory of work, and I still wanted to make a change in the current state.

It was only 6:19 in the morning, and we were already at the Jingzhongshan parking lot where we slept the day before. More than 20 kilometers north. You can see what time we got up. Take S356 north from Jingzhong Mountain, end at Yingbin Street east of Saheqiao Town, take the path north along the Daheiding Reservoir, and park in Beimaiyu Village. This day is June 17, 2016.

Without sunlight, the vast water surface and the distant mountains and close-up shots cannot be photographed.

Panjiakou Scenic Area, at 6:42 in the morning on June 17, 2016, we have climbed to the top of the reservoir dam in Panjiakou Conservancy Scenic Area. It can be seen that the reservoir has been experiencing drought for many years and the water level has dropped a lot. In addition, the reservoir has been turned into a freshwater fish farm. Seeing so many speedboats parked on the shore, there is probably a business of taking speedboats to visit the reservoir during the peak summer tourist season.

Panjiakou Scenic Area

Panjiakou Conservancy Scenic Area quite disappointed us. After simply taking a few photos, we decided to head to the next attraction as soon as possible: Qingshan Scenic Area . The navigator guided us across the dam to the east bank of the reservoir. Take a country road south, and finally west of Luanyang Town, Qianxi County, get on the S286 provincial road and head northeast. When we got to the area near Xifengkou Village, Provincial Highway 286 was blocked by a landslide. After understanding the situation, it seemed that we could go around Shibapan Village. Turn back and head south until you reach an eastbound country road between Zhangjiadian and Gaojiazhuang, passing through Luojiabaozi Village, Tazishan Village, Wanziya Village and Shibapan Village.

Qingshanguan Scenic Area

In Shibapan Village, we happened to catch up with the market and purchased some food. Then continue eastbound. Take Zongfu Village, Beizhuang, Wafangzhuang Village, Jinlongkou Village, Longwan Village, Sandaohezi to reach the three-way intersection with Niantang Line, turn left and go north, then turn right and take Yanshan West Road directly to the parking lot of Qingshanguan Scenic Area. At 10 o'clock in the morning, we walked into Qingshan Pass Scenic Area.

Go up the mountain and see the remains of the Great Wall. In the end, we didn't climb much up, and mountain climbing is not our strong point.

Going down to the foot of the mountain, we came to Qingshan Castle. It can be seen that this place was once an important military fortress, which is why such an ancient castle exists.

It is not the peak tourist season, or there are not many people traveling here, and the castle is not very popular. However, the architectural features and taste of the castle still make me feel good. It was around 12 noon when we left the gate of Qingshan Scenic Area and arrived at the parking lot, where we had lunch. The next target is the Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area in Caofeidian District, Tangshan City.

Rainbow Bridge in Qianxi County

Driving away from Qingshanguan Scenic Area, we returned to the Niantang Line and headed south, hit the S363 Provincial Road, turned right and walked west on S363, passing through the old city and countryside. Turn left and take the S262 Qiancao Line. After crossing the Rainbow Bridge, you can enter Qianxi County. This Rainbow Bridge is really beautiful. I parked on the bridge to take photos, didn’t turn off the engine, and left right after taking the photos.

The scenery on both sides of the Rainbow Bridge in Qianxi County is quite beautiful, but cars parked on the bridge do not allow for careful tasting. It is now 1:37 pm on June 17, 2016.

Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area

Go south along the S262 Qiancao Line to reach Caofeidian District and then to Caofeidian Wetland Park. However, we caught up with road construction on S262 along this way. We drove a long distance on gravel roads and were exposed to heavy smoke, which delayed our trip. Therefore, we arrived at Caofeidian Wetland Park at 5:02 in the evening.

We originally wanted to enter the scenic spot, but the staff at the scenic spot discouraged us from entering. First of all, the time before the scenic spot closes is short. There is a very long corridor inside. It takes a long time to walk down. I am afraid I won’t be able to get out even after dark. Secondly, there are many mosquitoes in the scenic area, which poses a great threat to people.

When we were shooting outside the gate of the scenic spot, we discovered two things: there were indeed a lot of mosquitoes; and we couldn't see much scenery while walking in the corridor of the scenic spot, which was surrounded by tall reeds. So we decided not to go in. In order to find a mosquito-free accommodation, we eventually returned to Caofeidian District.
