The National Academy of Fine Arts of Ukraine is the highest art school in Ukraine and one of the best art schools in the world and Europe. The school was founded by outstanding Ukrainian scientists, artists and cultural workers, the first president of Ukraine, national academician Mikhail Gurshefsky, and several other Ukrainian scientists and artists.

Since its establishment, the National Academy of Fine Arts of Ukraine has gradually become the main higher education base for training senior experts in Ukrainian art and architecture.
