Dasha Town is located in the northwest of Kaiping City, bordering Enping and Xinxing, with a total area of 2 15.6 square kilometers. Dasha Town is not only a remote mountainous area in Kaiping City, an old revolutionary base area, but also a resettlement area for reservoir immigrants, with a total population of 32,000 and more than 7,000 reservoir immigrants. It has jurisdiction over 14 village committees and 1 community neighborhood committees.

Tianlu Mountain is rich in landscape resources, with tall and straight peaks, lush trees and beautiful scenery. The elevation of the main peak is1250m, which is the highest peak in Jiangmen area. Dashahe Reservoir has a rainwater collection area of 2 17 square kilometers and a total storage capacity of 258 million cubic meters. It is one of the three major reservoirs in Jiangmen City and an important drinking water source for nearly 400,000 people in Kaiping City and surrounding towns. The whole town covers an area of 6.5438+0.8 million mu of forest land, planted with forest crops such as fir trees and pine trees, with lush forests, extremely high forest coverage and good ecological environment protection.

Dasha aims at strengthening the town through industry, and expands and strengthens small hydropower, green plums, flowers, tea, Sanhuang chicken breeding and other characteristic industries. At present, there are 32 small hydropower stations with an annual power generation of about 50 million kWh, which has become a local investment hotspot. The plum blossom planting area is 6000 mu.
