New Regulations on Entry of Foreigners into China 202 1

Legal analysis: After foreigners arrive at the first port of entry in China, they will be tested for nucleic acid at the airport, and they will be quarantined at the designated place for 14-28 days (centralized quarantine medical observation 14 days+home quarantine medical observation for 7 days to 14 days). During and at the end of the quarantine, foreigners also need to conduct multiple nucleic acid tests according to the requirements of the local epidemic prevention and control center. If all the test results are negative, foreigners can end the quarantine.

(3) Foreigners with valid residence certificates such as work, private affairs and reunion in China may enter China.

(4) Foreigners who hold residence permits for work, private affairs and reunion in China that expire after March 28, 2020 may re-apply for visas.

(5) Foreign citizens holding permanent residence permits.
