Why does the United States need to establish the National Asia-Pacific Museum of History and Culture?

In 2020, the President of the United States signed relevant laws and agreed to establish Latino museums in the United States, which was a great progress.

Among many races, Asians don't have a national museum in the United States, so the construction of this museum will be a brand-new beginning, which means that the contribution of Asians to the United States has not been ignored. Most people know that America is an immigrant country. Native Americans did not actually belong to the United States, but later people developed them into Americans, and African-Americans also played an important role in the construction of the United States.
