In p>1943, the 2nd Regiment of Jizhong Guard Brigade moved to the northwest of Shanxi, and was reorganized into the 2nd Regiment of the 8th Military Division of Jinsui Military Region, replacing the 7th Regiment of the 358th Brigade stationed in Loufan area, and Lin Haiqing, head of the 2nd Regiment of Guard Brigade, was appointed as the detachment leader. From August 1944, under the command of Lin Haiqing, the 2nd detachment and Loufan militia besieged the Japanese puppet troops entrenched in Loufan town for eight months, and liberated Loufan town. In August 1945, Lin Haiqing led the 2nd detachment to Yangqu. Lin Haiqing married Duan Xiaolan, a girl from Fenglingdi Village, and once lived here. The former residence consists of a 3-hole brick and mud cave and a 1-hole stone cave. After the founding of New China, the old residence was renovated and well preserved.

Lin Haiqing (1913-1993) was born in Pingjiang, Hunan. In 1932, he joined the China Producer Party. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, he served as the head of the Hebei Special Service Corps, the head of the 2nd Regiment of Jizhong Police Brigade, and the detachment leader of the 2nd Division of the 8th Military Division of the Jinsui Military Region. In 1943, he led his troops from Jizhong to Northwest Shanxi. After the founding of New China, he served as the 1th division commander of Xinjiang Construction Corps, deputy commander of Xinjiang Construction Corps, and vice chairman of CPPCC in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
