Where is songhua dam in Kunming?

"songhua dam Reservoir Water Source Protection Area is located in the north of Panlong District, with a total protection area of 187.97 km2, including Songhua Township, Shuanglong Township, Longquan Sub-district Office 12 village committees and 67 natural villages. The reserve is connected to Baiyi Township in Songming County in the north, Wuhua District in the west and Guandu District in the south and east.

Generally, going to Songhuaba Reservoir means going to its dam. You can take Beijing Road or Longquan Road. Longquan Road turns right at Fengyuan Road, Beijing Road turns left at Fengyuan Road, and then goes to Panlong River. Go north along XA03 Road by the river, turn right at Zhongba Village, go east along the road in the village, and start going up the mountain near Shangba Village. There is a winding mountain road, you can go straight up. There is a fork in the road. However, I heard that it is closed and irrelevant personnel are not allowed to approach the dam. I don't know if it's true or not. There is a 126 bus to Shangba Village, but it is better to drive there. There are still several kilometers of Panshan Road from the village to the dam, but they are all asphalt roads.
