Why Rongchang is a halogen goose and the influencing factors of its geographical location.

There were six large-scale immigrants in Sichuan history. According to statistics, most Sichuanese (about 85% in Chongqing, 79% in Chengdu and 50-60% in mountainous areas) are descendants of immigrants. During the fourth migration in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, some Hakkas settled in Guchangzhou, and in the later migration, a large number of Hakkas moved to Rongchang, thus making Rongchang a famous "Hakka village" in China.

There have been more than 390 years of immigration history, and nearly 40 thousand people still maintain Hakka customs and habits in Rongchang. Hakka customs have changed the living habits and diet structure of Rongchang people over the years, and even the braised goose, which has long been favored by southerners, has gradually become a table delicacy for Rongchang people.

Red roast goose was originally a Chaoshan cuisine. After several generations of innovation and improvement by Hakka gourmets, Rongchang White Goose with more delicate meat has replaced Chaoshan Lion Head Goose with inconvenient transportation and high cost as the main ingredient for marinating. On the basis of Chaoshan traditional marinating method, the formula of marinated juice has been improved, and spicy and delicious Sichuan cuisine has been added, thus creating the local flavor of Rongchang today and integrating Chaoshan with Sichuan cuisine.
