It is in order to protect these rights that people have established a government, and the legal power of the government is granted with the consent of the ruled. Once any form of government destroys these goals, the people have the right to change or abolish it and establish a new government. The principles on which the new government is based and the way it organizes power must convince the people that only in this way can security and happiness be achieved.

After careful consideration, a government with a long history should not be replaced for irrelevant and temporary reasons. Moreover, all past experiences also show that human beings are more inclined to endure tolerable pain. As long as people can endure it, they would rather endure it than abolish their accustomed form of government.

However, when the abuse and usurpation of power continue endlessly, which proves that the goal pursued by the government is to try to put the people under authoritarian rule, the people have the right and obligation to overthrow such a government and establish new guarantees for its future security. This is why the people of these colonies have been suffering, and now they have to get up and change the original political system.

We also told them all kinds of facts about immigrants and people who settled here.

We appeal to them for their innate justice and magnanimity, and implore them to remember the friendship of the same clan, resist those predatory behaviors and not affect our relationship and friendship.

However, they turned a deaf ear to this just and flesh-and-blood appeal. Therefore, we must ignore the condemnation of our separation and treat them with the attitude of other peoples in the world: the enemies who fight against us and the friends who live in peace with us.
