Is it a traitor for China to go to the United States as a soldier?

Not a traitor. This has nothing to do with treason.

In the United States, soldiers must have at least a green card (permanent resident card) and officers must have citizenship. The army won't help you apply for a green card, but if you join the army with a green card, the immigration office can help you become a citizen immediately. Applicants must live in the United States.

If you live permanently in the United States, it doesn't matter to me whether the old China will love you or not. These materials are not used to judge whether to accept or not, but only to let the recruiter know whether the applicant is worth taking the time to submit the application.
