Specific requirements for visa application:

1. Fill in and sign the corresponding application form correctly;

2. Submit passport photos;

3. Provide relevant information according to different requirements of visa types;

4. The passport is valid for not less than 6 months;

5. Pay the visa application fee.

(2) There are three main types of visas: visiting visa, business visa and work visa.

1, visit visa. It is mainly awarded to people who travel to Papua New Guinea or visit relatives. This visa is generally valid for 3 months and is valid only for one entry and exit. The future holder will stay in Papua New Guinea for 60 days and may not be employed. Before the expiration of the residence period, you can apply for an extension, but the maximum is not more than 30 days, and you can't change it to other types of visas.

Before the expiration of the residence period, you can apply for an extension, but the maximum is not more than 30 days.

When applying for this kind of visa, in addition to the materials mentioned in Article (1), it is also necessary to provide a round-trip air ticket, a certificate of no crime, notarized documents of my education and work experience, and a guarantee invitation letter issued by Papua New Guinea.

3. Work visa. Awarded to businessmen, laborers who invest or engage in business activities in Papua New Guinea or foreigners whose spouses are citizens of Papua New Guinea. This visa is valid for up to three years and can be extended. To apply for this kind of visa, the employer needs to apply for an employment permit from the Ministry of Labor of Papua New Guinea in advance (providing notarized documents such as the company's vacancy certificate, the applicant's innocence certificate, education background, work experience, etc.). Then, the employment company will apply for a visa with the employment permit issued by the Ministry of Labor. After the immigration bureau has passed the examination, it will notify the embassy in China to issue visas. Such visas are generally issued by the embassies of Papua New Guinea abroad, and holders of visiting visas and business visas in Papua New Guinea generally cannot apply for changing to work visas.
