Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Zhuang language: GvangjsihBouxcueghSwcigih) is called Guangxi for short because most of Guangxi belongs to Guilin County, which was established by the Qin Dynasty to unify Lingnan. Nanning is the capital, and it governs 14 prefecture-level cities and 8 county-level cities. It is one of the five minority autonomous regions in China and the only coastal autonomous region in China. Located in the west of South China in China, it borders Guangdong, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan in the east and west, Beibu Gulf in the south, Southeast Asia in the south and Vietnam in the southwest.
