Shaochuantou neighborhood

Shaochuantou Street is a fishing village in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. Its earliest origin is the Haipu land filled by immigrants who moved here at that time. Xiongzhen north gate

Kaohsiung aquatic products laboratory

The current site of Kaohsiung Branch of Fisheries Laboratory was the former seaside site of British Consulate. 1869, with the permission of Li Zhaotang, a British businessman passed through the platform of Taiwan Province Province and built a beach official land at the bow of Shaokou. After the establishment of the Taiwan Provincial Government, the organization rules of Taiwan Province Fisheries Laboratory were published on 1947. 1948, first changed to fishery branch of Taiwan Province Agriculture and Forestry Company, and then transferred to Agriculture and Forestry Department of Taiwan Provincial Government the following year. Its main work is to improve aquaculture in Taiwan Province Province and conduct experimental research.
