My American friend Adam

20 10 stayed in America for five months.

I live in an American family that loves China culture. Every morning, I go to college by car. In the afternoon or evening, I go home by bus from college.

One day, I bought a bag of rice, some tomatoes and apples, came out of the market with a heavy bag on my back, and waited for the bus to go back on the platform. A middle-aged American is sitting on the bench next to me.

He saw me standing and said to me, why don't you sit down and wait? The bus won't come for a while.

He said, my name is Adam, and you?

I told him my English name.

I was just about to sit down when I got on the bus when I heard someone calling my English name.
