Ethnic minorities only account for 1% in China, even less in the world. Many ethnic minorities can't be translated into English or other languages at all. They can only be called China people or Chinese people in general.

"Ethnic origin" refers to descendants. Direct immigrants can only be called China people, and their descendants are called China people.

Korean immigrants are also called China people. Although the main ethnic groups in China and South Korea are Korean, it has nothing to do with Korean immigrants. After emigration, others care about your original nationality, not which country your nationality is mainly distributed in.
