Zhuang nationality is a famous nation with the largest number except Han nationality. In fact, the Zhuang nationality was originally called Gelao nationality, and later it was changed to Zhuang nationality. The name change was made after the founding of the People's Republic of China.

But there are some Zhuang people in other places, but these Zhuang people have changed their life details and some cultural attributes because they have followed the cultures of various places.

In the earliest Qin and Han dynasties, it was not until Qin Shihuang put down the war that the ancestors of Zhuang nationality were wiped out. In fact, before this, the Zhuang nationality had no surname, only a first name.

So in some of Sima Qian's books, we can see that some nobles or leaders recorded by Sima Qian have only first names and no surnames.

Later, due to social development and historical evolution, these people gradually had some contact with the culture of the Central Plains, which made some of them have their own surnames.

It is also partly because of the war at that time that people migrated in various ways and then began to live with Han Chinese. They were also influenced by some Chinese cultures or surnames, so they gave themselves surnames.

Later, there were marriages between Han and Zhuang. Even in modern times, many people intermarry between ethnic minorities and Han nationality. Fifty-six nationalities are one family.

Now that the national policy is in place, after the marriage of Han and Zhuang, most ethnic groups who have children still choose Zhuang, because after all, the policies of ethnic minorities are better.

The last point is that the Zhuang people didn't have their own characters until they came into contact with the Han people, so this also led to why the Zhuang people had the surname of the Han people.
