Project content: The proposed new Wulahada Reservoir is located 3 kilometers north of Zhangjiakou City, with a controlled basin area of 2,208 square kilometers, accounting for 92.8% of the total area of Qingshuihe River basin. It is a large reservoir with comprehensive utilization of flood control, irrigation and power generation. The reservoir was built according to 100 return flood, which was checked by 5000 return flood. The reservoir hub is mainly composed of barrage, water conveyance tunnel and power station. The main projects of the project include the main project (designed with a total storage capacity of 65.438+0.59 billion cubic meters), water and soil conservation project in Qingshui River basin, artificial precipitation enhancement project in Qingshui River basin, river regulation and cross-strait development project in Qingshui River, tourism development project in Wulahada reservoir area, and some immigrants and enterprises relocation caused by river regulation.

Project investment: The total investment of the project is 654.38+0.002 billion yuan.

Necessity of project construction: The implementation of this project is conducive to protecting the life and property safety of people in the main urban area of Zhangjiakou, improving the ecological environment of Qingshui River basin and developing the local economy, and has far-reaching significance for improving the urban environment, controlling the water pollution of Daqing River and improving the comprehensive management level of the waters around Beijing and Tianjin.

Construction conditions: The project has been included in the implementation plan of recent flood control construction in Haihe River Basin by the Ministry of Water Resources, and the project proposal has been compiled by Hebei Water Resources and Hydropower Survey and Design Institute and listed as one of the top ten municipal projects in Zhangjiakou City.
