When the Hakka Wai House in Longnan meets 17 Venice Architecture Biennale in the form of contemporary variation, 12 contemporary artists take Longnan Wai House as their creative starting point. How to participate and intervene in it and complete a dialogue about traditional immigrant architecture? Under the global background of the post-epidemic era, it has opened the consciousness of rethinking lifestyle and urgent issues.

"The Change of the paddock: Dialogue on Traditional Immigrant Architecture in China" was hosted by Yachang (Shenzhen) Art Center. Although the global changes in the post-epidemic era have brought uncertainty to the exhibition, they have left more creative time for 12 participating artists. During this year, artists went deep into Longnan many times, taking the Hakka paddock building in Longnan as the starting point, and then explored the settlement mode of today's society, thus carefully creating these works.

Dialogue with China Traditional Immigrant Architecture "Contemporary Art Exhibition" chooses Longnan Wai House as the starting point, aiming at thinking about the relationship between Hakka immigrants in China today and immigrants in the world, and experiencing the life choice and survival wisdom of each family in the face of historical crisis.

After the production of the exhibited works was completed, the curator obtained the consent of the organizing committee of Venice Architecture Biennale and held a preview of the works at Shenzhen Yachang Art Museum in China. According to the arrangement of the organizing committee of the Architecture Biennale, it will arrive in Venice on 20021as scheduled, complete the exhibition and open it to the public at home and abroad. After the exhibition, all the works will be shipped back to China, and longnan county, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province will set up a "change of enclosed houses" for this exhibition.

The Museum of Contemporary Art has completely preserved the exhibition style of Venice and exhibited it permanently in the local area.
