In order to obtain a visa for Kazakhstan, the applicant should go through the following procedures.
1. The requirements for obtaining visa standard information in Kazakhstan are as follows (regardless of visa type):
-An invitation letter issued by a company, unit or institution registered in Kazakhstan and registered by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan;
-Fill in the visa application form (all required), either in Chinese or English. A photo of 3, 5x4 and 5cm must be pasted in the blank of the application form;
-There are only two pages left on the passport visa page, and the passport is valid for at least three months longer than the departure date of the Kazakhstan visa;
-Copy of the first page of passport (including personal information) and the front and back of ID card (copied on the same page);
-Letter of introduction from the applicant's work unit. The format of the letter of introduction adopts the formal letter format of the unit (with the name of the unit), with the official seal and the signature of the leader. Attach a 3,5x4,5 identity photo to the letter (the photo is stamped with the official seal). The contents of the letter should include the applicant's personal information, position, purpose of travel and the appeal of applying for a visa in Kazakhstan;
-A copy of the company's business license stamped with the official seal. If the applicant's company is not a private enterprise, the company needs to issue other forms of national registration documents.
On the reception day, you have to go to the consular office to apply for a visa, and you have to sign it in person.
According to the relevant laws of Kazakhstan, visa services in the form of mail or Internet are not accepted.
Applicants line up in order. No queuing during off-duty hours.
During the interview, the applicant must provide relevant documents and personal identification to the consular officer. Providing incomplete or incorrect information may lead to the refusal of Kazakhstan visa. If necessary, the consulate may require the applicant to provide other documents.
Successful face-to-face signing or acceptance of documents does not guarantee a visa. In some cases, the applicant may be refused a visa after the face-to-face visa is passed or the document is accepted. If necessary, the applicant may also be asked to conduct additional interviews.
3. After completing the interview and receiving the documents, the applicant will get a receipt for evidence collection and a bank payment slip. The date and time of obtaining evidence in the consular section will be indicated on the evidence sheet.
4. The requirements for obtaining visa standard information in Kazakhstan are as follows (related to visa types)
-The work visa "M 1" requires a copy of the work permit;
-The work permit holder's family visa "M2" requires a copy of the spouse's work permit, a copy of the certificate that the work permit holder is a relative, and a copy of the first page of the work permit holder's passport and the work permit page;
-The investment visa "с 1" requires a copy of the letter from the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan.
5. China citizens should know the rules and regulations of entering and leaving Kazakhstan before going to Kazakhstan.

Foreigners who come to Kazakhstan for a short period of time should provide their identity documents for registration at their temporary or permanent residence within 5 days after entering the country.

6. Reject:
-Last time a foreigner broke the law in Kazakhstan;
-Providing false certificates or incomplete documents required by law;

-Persons expelled from Kazakhstan are not allowed to enter the country for five years after the court issues an expulsion order.

This regulation is formulated on the basis of studying the experience of visa policies in different countries and regions, including China. The following types of visas, such as "non-immigrant" and "immigrant", are also introduced for the first time in this Ordinance.
Non-immigrant visas include the following types: diplomatic, official, investment, business, missionary, tourism, private and transit; Immigrant visas include-permanent residence, family reunion, education, work and humanitarianism.
The new regulations divide visa categories. The types of diplomatic visas are subdivided into "A 1", "A2" and "A3"; Official business-"b1","B2" and "B3"; Investors-"C1"and "C2"; Business -D 1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7 and D8, etc.
It should be pointed out that the main purpose of adopting the new regulations is to create favorable conditions for foreigners who go to Kazakhstan for personal and business reasons. One-time, two-time and three-time tourist visas are valid for up to 90 days, and each stay in Kazakhstan is up to 30 days.
Foreigners engaged in investment activities in Kazakhstan can obtain a one-time investment visa valid for up to 90 days or a multiple investment visa valid for up to 3 years.
The basis for applying for an investment visa is the authorized institution in charge of investment in Kazakhstan.
Foreigners who go to Kazakhstan to participate in conferences, forums, exhibitions, cultural and scientific activities can obtain a short-term business visa "D 1". The first, second and third "D 1" visas are valid for 90 days, and each stay in Kazakhstan does not exceed 30 days.
"D2" business visa is issued to foreigners who go to Kazakhstan for short-term business travel, installation, maintenance, equipment technical services and exchanges with youth, universities and students. This visa is valid for up to 1 year, and you can stay in Kazakhstan for no more than 60 days every 180 days.
"D3" visas are issued to foreigners who provide humanitarian assistance, negotiation, contract signing, consulting and auditing services in Kazakhstan. The validity period is up to three years, and each stay does not exceed 30 days. Stay in Kazakhstan for no more than 60 days every 180 days.
According to the regulations, the validity of business visas, as well as private, tourist and transit visas obtained according to the invitation letter of the company as an enterprise legal person, cannot be extended.
China citizens need to apply for a visa to Kazakhstan at the Consular Section of the Kazakh Embassy in China. You can also apply for visas at other consular offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in China, including the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai (including Shanghai, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Fujian provinces), the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Hong Kong (including Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region) and the Passport and Visa Service Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in Urumqi (including Xinjiang Autonomous Region).
