Transport channel

Historically, Weihe River shipping has also been developed and utilized. During the Zhou and Qin Dynasties, shipping on the Weihe River had begun, and there was a drought in Jin State. Qin State helped Jin State with a large amount of grain. "Take a boat to the east and look at the distance between Yong and Jiang." The route of water transportation goes down the Weihe River, back to the Yellow River and divides water until Jindu River, which shows that there is more water in the middle and lower reaches of Weihe River, which is beneficial to shipping.

The Weihe River in Guanzhong was formed in the early Pleistocene, about 2 million years ago. Traces of human activities in the basin have reached more than 800 ~ 1 10,000 years, including Lantian ape-man site 800,000 years ago, Dali ape-man site 0/50,000 years ago, Banpo site of matriarchal clan commune 67,000 years ago, and a large number of Yangshao culture and Longshan culture sites.
