Is the population of the American continent basically immigrants from Europe?

The earliest people on the American continent were East Asians who arrived in America through the Bering Continental Bridge. After entering North America, they spread to the whole American continent, called Indians, and they were indigenous to the American continent. At present, there are few Indians left in North America, but there are still many Indians in South America.

The population who entered the United States in the later period was basically European immigrants who entered the United States during the colonial era. Among them, North America is mainly slaves from Britain and Africa, South America is mainly a Spanish colony, and some are from Portugal.
