Foreigners or stateless persons who are willing to abide by the Constitution and laws of China and meet one of the following conditions may be granted China nationality upon application:

Close relatives of China people;

Settle in China;

There are other legitimate reasons.

So there must be, but it is very difficult for foreigners to become citizens of China!
