This is a simple movie, which can hit your heart directly. The director's lens focuses on a group of ordinary and real people.

People and even actors are ordinary non-professional actors. I don't know why such a good film didn't usher in the spring of the film industry. Perhaps in this era when everything is fast, we have no time to take care of the still water and clear springs around us. The calm plot is like a boulder, which has aroused ripples in my long-silent heart.

On the surface, this film touches on the problem of illegal immigration which is concerned by public opinion. In fact, it is a complete love movie. Before talking about the content, let me briefly introduce the movie Hero:

The first one is Bilal, the noble soul we want to praise throughout the film.

There is no doubt that he is the hero of this film, a rainy season boy of 17 years old, who loves football, Iraqi Kurds, family situation and so on. In order to go to England to find a girl I like, I walked 4000 kilometers from Kurdistan to Calais, France, where I was excluded as a refugee. Finally, I swam from Calais, France for several hours to the English Channel, and finally I was buried in the sea for 800 meters. When you see the ending, you will cry silently, admire, and can't help but admire the injustice of fate.

The second is Simone, a middle-aged swimming coach who still has dreams.

A former swimming champion in Calais, France, now works as a coach in an ordinary swimming pool. Wife Marion.

If every swift horse has its own Bole, then bilal is lucky to find Simon, the Bole that belongs to him. Under Simon's calm expression and quiet life, we can see the ordinary life of ordinary people, but we can't see the burning dream hidden in his heart. He once had a dream, and he still has a dream.

The third is Simon's compassionate wife Marion.

?

Marion is a middle school teacher. A compassionate woman.

At that time, all French people were in a state of vigilance and exclusion for these refugees, and they were not allowed to shop in supermarkets. The police often drive them away from wandering in the city, so these refugees have to live in the jungle. Once Marion happened to meet the staff at the gate of the supermarket and refused to let these refugees go shopping, so she righteously said to the staff, "Why not let them in?" Don't they give you money? They're in your way. . . . . . "It can be seen here that Marion is a person with clear hatred and great love.

The fourth place is Mina, the beautiful and sad goddess of Ballal.

The heroine doesn't appear many times in the whole movie, but when she appears, she is amazing on the screen and beautiful.

The movie didn't specifically introduce how I met the male host, including why they lived in England. My own guess is that Mina's family immigrated to England. Mina and Bilal's feelings are just like the words of the matchmaker ordered by their parents in ancient China. Finally, her family had no choice but to marry her to one of their cousins.

Other actors will not be introduced one by one, and several more important clues.

?

The film is about the butterfly effect caused by the Iraq war, which made a group of Kurds who had lived a quiet and simple life inexplicably yearn for the promised land of "Britain". Britain, for these refugees, may be a poem and a distant place in their imagination, but for all refugees, bilal and Britain have a place where she waits for her lover (Mina) day and night. All the poems are Mina, and all the distant places are Mina.

Bilal and Mina were originally a pair of congenial lovers, but they were blocked by their families in every way: no phone calls, no meeting, and any information from bilal was rejected. Bilal called Mina as soon as the movie started. Mina was not at home, but she was received by Mina's brother. For fear of being discovered by her parents, Mina's brother asked bilal to call Mina by mobile phone in the future. However, after many attempts to call Mina, Mina was not contacted for various reasons, which stimulated various illegal activities in Ballal to find Mina.

He walked 4000 kilometers to Calais, France (Calais, France is located in the north of France, facing Britain across the sea). After arriving in Calais, he met a friend who was going to smuggle into England by truck, so he joined his friend's truck smuggling plan. The difficulty of taking a truck is that someone will check the carbon dioxide in the carriage at every stop, so they must put a plastic bag on their heads and can't breathe out oxygen. This is the cave of death in bilal. A refugee died alive from lack of oxygen in a truck. At the time of security check, bilal could not support all the refugees who failed to sneak into the police station, and was not convicted for being a minor. All the refugees began to hate bilal, and one refugee even often punched and kicked Bilal.

On one occasion, while walking along the coast of Calais in frustration, bilal saw a ship bound for England, so he fantasized about swimming to a place with a cruise ship and sneaking into England with it. From then on, he began a journey of learning to swim day and night. He met his swimming teacher Simon in the swimming pool.

Simon sees him practicing swimming very hard and thinks he is a boy with great swimming talent. He was moved by his perseverance and asked him why he tried so hard to learn swimming. At first, he didn't tell Simon what he thought, but Simon saw that he wanted to swim across the channel. Gradually, Simon began to cherish this ambitious young man and often invited him to live in his own home and cook for him. Slowly, bilal also let go of his bad feelings and regarded Simon as his friend, even his relatives. And told him the purpose of learning to swim. Simon was moved by their faithful love and agreed to his idea to help him swim to England. He gave him a bathing suit, told him to call Mina on his mobile phone (but only once), and even gave bilal the ring he gave Marion to give to Mina.

Once Simon's gold medal was stolen, thinking that it was stolen by bilal. Bilal was so sad that he ran out of the door. Simon realized his mistake and took him back to the corridor. The neighbors heard the noise and came out to see what had happened. For the French who rejected these refugees, this was unbearable. So the neighbors called the police station to report the situation. Simon even many French people don't know that it is illegal to help "illegal immigrants" even for a poor meal or a night's accommodation in their own criminal law. Will be sentenced to five years in prison. The police came to see you in the early hours of the morning, just as bilal started to swim to the channel in order not to give Simon any trouble. So the police don't have enough evidence. When Simon closed the door after the police left, he saw the words "Welcome" printed on the mat where the neighbor entered the door. This is an ironic scene. A man who wrote "welcome" at his door told us a lot about life and helplessness because he stayed with refugees and reported himself to the police station.

Simon and bilal's farewell is forever. Bilal is like an elegant dolphin, hungry and cold, looking for its own shore in the cold sea and stormy waves. But fate gave him a tragedy, and also gave the whole movie a tragedy. He was buried in the sea in the last 800 years and failed to see his beloved girl. His life came to an end on 17, and he had to make the audience feel pain.

The director left no ending in the final tragedy. In the last clip, Simon went to England to find Mina and gave Mina the ring left by bilal, but Mina refused. She said, "10 I'm getting married in a day." Then Simon got a call from his wife and told him that the police were going to send him to prison. He told her that he had found her lost ring and that he would go back.

Tolstoy once said a famous saying in the novel Anna karenin: "Happy families are always similar, and each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way". I didn't understand why it became a "wise saying" before. But now I really feel the subtlety of this sentence. Everyone's youth is the same noun, everyone's fate is the same noun, everyone's family is the same noun, but everyone is experiencing a different life.
