The largest reservoir in Loudi is Shuifumiao Reservoir, also known as Xikou Reservoir. Shuifumiao Reservoir is located in the east of Loudi City, blocking the flow of Lianshui River, with a storage capacity of 560 million cubic meters, which is the water source of Shaoshan Irrigation District. Its waters cover Xiangxiang, Louxing and Shuangfeng counties and cities.
