Is Vanuatu an EU country?
Vanuatu is located in the western part of the South Pacific, between 13° and 23° south latitude, and 166° and 172° east longitude, with a distance of about 850 kilometers from north to south. It is located 1,900 kilometers east of Brisbane, Australia, 800 kilometers west of Fiji, 230 kilometers north of New Caledonia, and 170 kilometers south of Solomon. It is a Melanesian archipelago consisting of 83 islands (68 of which are inhabited). The largest island is Santo (area 3947 square kilometers). The land area is 860,000 square kilometers, including 12,190 square kilometers of land area and 848,000 square kilometers of water area.
