The German population in Chile

Chile has 500,000 German descendants. According to relevant data, after the 1848 German Revolution, the number of Germans who immigrated to other countries increased significantly. The population of Germans in Chile is about 500,000, accounting for 3% of Chile's population. Chileans born in Germany are Chilean citizens, and one or both parents are German. During the period of 1846- 19 14, about 30,000 German immigrants came to Chile, and now all Chileans of German descent are descendants of these people.
