Hainan cruise ship entry visa-free for a few days

Residents of 59 countries that have implemented visa-free entry for 30 days can stay in Hainan for 30 days without a visa.

These 59 countries include Russia, Britain, France, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ireland.

Qu, deputy director of the National Immigration Bureau, said that the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ will further optimize the visa-free entry policy on the basis of the existing visa-free entry policies of 59 countries, including expanding the visa-free entry channels for foreigners. Foreigners who meet the visa-free conditions can declare themselves or apply for visa-free entry through the invitation of the unit. Expand the scope of visa-free entry for foreigners, and foreigners can enter Hainan visa-free for business, visits, family visits, medical care, exhibitions, sports competitions and other reasons. Actively create conditions to gradually realize the stay period of visa-free entry personnel for more than 30 days. Comprehensively consider Hainan's foreign exchanges and tourism market demand, and timely evaluate and adjust the list of visa-free countries.

We will further provide port visas, long-term visas, residence permits and permanent residence facilities for foreign senior managers and foreigners who have worked or invested for a long time. For foreign technical and skilled personnel employed in Hainan, a work residence permit consistent with the term of the work contract can be issued. It is convenient for foreign students who have obtained a master's degree or above in domestic universities to apply for a residence permit for innovation and entrepreneurship in Hainan. Foreign students from overseas universities are allowed to practice in Hainan. Establish immigration service centers in areas where foreigners live and work in Hainan to provide "one-stop" services.

In terms of tourism, more convenient high-end tourism entry and exit service measures will be implemented. Including the implementation of the 0/5-day visa-free policy for foreign tour groups, simplifying the entry and exit (Hong Kong) procedures for yachts from Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao, and facilitating the visa or residence permit for foreign patients and their accompanying families who go to Hainan medical institutions such as Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pioneer Zone.
