1, Li won, whose blood ancestor is the leader of Dongyi nationality (one is responsible, whose surname is Bei or Won). Dali, who was appointed as Shun (the official in charge of criminal law), took the official as Li ("Li" and "Li" are interlinked), first Li, then Li.

During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Li in Longxi rose in troubled times, and Gui Li established Xiliang as a separatist party. After the demise of Xiliang, Li Gui's grandson Li Bao surrendered to the Northern Wei Dynasty and was highly valued. Among his six sons, except one who died young, the other five sons were all officials in the Northern Wei Dynasty, among which Li Chong, the sixth son of Li Bao, was the most beloved.

With the active participation and planning of, Qinghe Cui Shi, Lushi, Taiyuan and Xingyang were married with the royal family of the Northern Wei Dynasty and became descendants, and were designated as the fourth surname by Emperor Xiaowen of Wei, while Longxi Li became the "four surnames" and was called "five surnames". Later generations developed into seven surnames and ten families.
