What's the difference between Australian immigrant visa 188A and Australian visa 188C?

188A visa is a startup visa. Applicants need to start a business and run business in Australia, and the 188C visa is an investment visa. After obtaining the status, you don't need to start a business in Australia.

The principal applicant must have lived in Australia for more than 12 months in the two years before submitting the application for permanent residence with 188A visa (the Victorian government requires him to leave the country for no more than 6 weeks each year). The residence requirements of 188C are quite relaxed, as long as the main applicant lives in Australia for 40 days a year or the spouse lives in Australia for 180 days a year during the four-year period of holding a visa.

The visa for 188A requires a minimum investment of $200,000 to start a business locally, while the visa for 188C requires an investment of $5 million in investment projects designated by the Australian government.
