Where can I get a visa to Singapore?
Visa is a kind of license issued by a government agency according to its own laws for foreigners applying for entry, exit or transit.
Visa plays an important role in checking and controlling entry-exit personnel, protecting national security and preventing illegal immigrants and criminals.
Passport is the holder's nationality and identity certificate, and visa is the permission certificate of a sovereign country to allow foreign citizens or their own citizens to enter, exit or transit.
The following materials are required for China citizens to apply for a Singapore visa:
1. Passport, original passport and photocopy of passport photo page. Passports should be valid for more than six months (from the date of entry) and have at least one blank visa page;
2. Two color photos. Photos should be two inches, color, white background within three months; Face bareheaded (if you wear hats or accessories according to special religions or customs, the hats or accessories must not obscure the applicant's facial features).
3. Chinese identity card, original and photocopy. (Note that business visa applicants only need a copy);
4. On-the-job certificate. If the applicant is an on-the-job employee, the original on-the-job certification letter issued by the company must be provided. The certification letter should indicate that the company agrees to leave the company, and specify the working hours, position and salary of the applicant in detail. On-the-job certification letter must list the company's address, telephone and fax numbers and relevant contacts. Letters must be stamped with official seals;
5. If the applicant has no job, he/she needs to provide documents to prove his/her personal financial situation, such as bank deposit certificate (original and photocopy). There is no specific requirement for the amount of bank deposit certificate, but the date of bank issuance must be within 1 month from the date of visa application submission. This certificate should truly reflect your financial ability.
Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration Article 9 China citizens shall apply for passports or other travel documents when leaving or entering the country.
China citizens who want to go to other countries or regions also need to obtain visas or other entry permits. However, unless the China government has signed visa exemption agreements with other governments or the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provide otherwise.
China citizens who leave or enter the country as seafarers and work on foreign ships shall apply for a seaman's certificate according to law.
