Later, because the bassist Li Ming wanted to immigrate to the United States, Xie Tianxiao also lived in the United States for more than a year. During this period, parties, performances, work, travel ... totally unfamiliar environment and lifestyle gave Xie Tianxiao more creative accumulation. He is more aware that music is the sustenance and source of his life, and everything else becomes unimportant. The clearer feeling of "China" directly influenced his later choice of guzheng, Ma Touqin and other national musical instruments. In 2003, Xie Tianxiao decided to return to the motherland. Re-formed the band "Cold-blooded Animals" in Beijing, absorbing American drummer David.
