Zhang Ailing's Personal Experience

Zhang Ailing, a Shanghainese, was born on September 1920 19 (Zhang Ailing's American green card, American marriage certificate and death certificate are all dated on September 30th. 1In the early spring of 944, Zhang Ailing met, knew and fell in love with Hu Lancheng for the novel Blockade. Soon after, I married him. However, this marriage only lasted for two years. From 65438 to 0972, Zhang Ailing moved to Los Angeles and began to live in seclusion. 1On September 8, 995, 75-year-old Zhang Ailing was found only one week after her death at her home in Ximu District, Los Angeles. Lin Shi was appointed executor before his death. On September 19, the body was cremated at Rose Hill Cemetery in Huizel, Los Angeles. Personal realization

Zhang Ailing is a charming writer in the history of modern literature in China. Her life's creation involves novels, essays and script reviews, among which novels are the most successful. Zhang Ailing's novels are beyond her time. Her novels, in terms of material selection, conception, characterization, narrative structure, language skills and so on, all show personal characteristics and have made outstanding achievements.

Her novels, whether beyond elegance and vulgarity or in-depth description of marginalized little people, are unmatched by any other writer in the 1940s. Therefore, her novels can not be attributed to any novel genre, but a unique existence, which has made a unique contribution in the history of China's novels. Commemoration of future generations

Changde apartment, the former residence of Zhang Ailing, is located at the intersection of Shanghai Changde Road and Nanjing West Road, near Jing 'an Temple. This Art Deco apartment, formerly known as Eddington Apartment, also known as Ellington Apartment, was built in 1936. Zhang Ailing and her aunt lived here for many years, where they finished several major novels in her life.
