What materials do I need to apply for a Portuguese tourist visa to travel to Portugal?

1. For short-term (Class C) visas, see "Schengen Visa".

2. Long-term (D) visa.

(1) A complete application form signed by the applicant, and two photos of 3.5x4.5cm white background taken in recent 12 months.

(2) Passport (valid for at least 3 months after the expiration of the visa application, with at least two blank visa pages) and personal information page. If you have an extension page and a visa from other countries, you need to provide a copy.

(3) Notarial certificate with no criminal record in China (translated into English or Portuguese), with double authentication. (If the applicant stays in other countries for more than one year, he/she must show that he/she has no criminal record during his/her stay).

(4) The original household registration book, copies of all pages with contents and English or Portuguese translations.

(5) Hotel reservation confirmation form.

(6) Proof of the applicant's economic status.

(7) air ticket reservation form.

(8) Medical insurance, covering accidental injuries during the whole trip, including at least 30,000 euros of medical care and medical rescue. Provide originals and copies.

(9) Open academic/professional qualification certificate (translated into English or Portuguese) and double certification (visa applicants who go abroad for medical treatment or accompany sick family members do not need to provide this document).

(10) Those who are under the age of 16 and have no capacity for civil conduct must show their parents/legal guardians' consent when applying for a visa. No proof of criminal record is required.

(1 1) Depending on the type of visa and the purpose of applying for a visa, the following materials need to be supplemented:

1) employment contract

A the work contract signed by both parties shall be notarized in Portugal.

B. Provide the recruitment approval certificate issued by the Portuguese Labor and Vocational Training Bureau according to law.

C. If the occupation the applicant is engaged in requires relevant professional qualifications according to the legal requirements, the applicant shall present the professional qualification certificate issued by the relevant Portuguese institutions.

2) Self-employment or investment visa

A. Self-employment

The labor contract signed by the applicant and the employer.

If applicable, relevant professional qualification certificates shall be provided.

B. Investment

Statement of investment intention, including investment scale, investment amount and investment cycle.

Relevant certificates of the applicant's past business and investment activities.

Financial or banking certificate of Portuguese investment activities.

3) Engaged in research and development, teaching or high-tech work in institutions of higher learning;

A. Research activities

The certificate issued by the official institution to accept the applicant to work in a research institution can be a work contract, a service contract or a scholarship.

Scholarship certificates issued by official institutions.

Teaching in an institution of higher learning: a work contract or service contract signed with an institution of higher learning.

Engaged in high-tech work: the work contract or service contract is used to prove that the applicant will engage in high-tech work.

4) Visa application for studying abroad, exchange students in middle schools, internship or volunteer work:

A. study visa

University:

L Certificate of admission to institutions of higher learning (scholars who have won Camons Scholarship need not provide it).

Scholarship certificate, if applicable.

Middle school:

L minimum age requirement.

L middle school admission certificate.

L proof of accommodation, which can be issued by local families in Portugal or other forms of accommodation.

L Minor applicants must produce a power of attorney written by their parents or legal guardians. This document was notarized first and then certified twice.

internship

The acceptance certificate issued by the internship project.

Training contracts and plans.

Volunteer work

L applicants must reach the minimum working age.

L the acceptance certificate issued by the receiving institution of the volunteer work that the applicant is about to participate in.

5) Apply for a visa as a performer.

Work contract signed by the applicant and the Portuguese inviter.

B previous work experience or experience in related fields proves the need for notarization and double certification.

6) Family reunion visa

A. Original approval issued by the Portuguese Immigration Service (SEF).

B in compliance with Articles 98 and 99 of Portuguese Regulation 23/2007.

C. marriage certificate with double certification, if applicable.

D birth certificate, if applicable, and double certificate.

E. notarial certificate of kinship, double authentication.

F. If parents take refuge in their children, they must show relevant proof that their parents are financially dependent on their children in Portugal.
